Chris Grinstead grew up in a pastor’s family in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. At the age of 20, he saw his need for a relationship with Jesus and trusted in Christ as his Savior. Shortly thereafter, he married his high school sweetheart, Christa, and they began pastoring a church in Tennessee. The Lord moved them here to Cumming, Georgia in 2003, and they have been faithfully serving ever since. They have three kids and one son-in-law: Hannah, Rachel (and Jacob Littlefield), and Jacob Grinstead.
One of his greatest joys: spending time with family.
Enjoys: doing construction projects and watching car shows.
Assistant Pastor/Youth Director
Micah Fauscett is a native of Forsyth County. As a teenager, he put his trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. His path to ministry started in the janitorial field. Micah continued serving in various areas of the church while earning his bachelor’s degree in marketing from North Georgia University. After working in the banking industry for 8 years, the Lord opened a door for Micah to come on staff at Greater Heights in 2013. Together alongside his wife Kayla, Micah continues to faithfully serve the Lord at GHBC.

Gerardo Pineda was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. At the age of 16, Gerardo put his trust in Jesus Christ while at a school camp. Upon completing college with a degree in secondary education, History and Bible, Gerardo taught one year of high school. During this time, the Lord began working in his heart and opening up doors, and at the end of 2017, his family moved to Georgia as the Outreach and Spanish Director. Gerardo is married to his high school sweetheart, Esther.
Favorite Teams: Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears
Favorite Food: Tacos…the real ones not found at Taco Bell.
He is the youngest of 6 kids…and the only boy!
Lisa Thompson was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. At church she met her husband, Parkey, while he was attending college in the area. Together, they moved to Georgia in 1995. An opening came available for an administrative assistant at the church in 2008, and Lisa has been faithfully serving ever since. Together, her and Parkey have three kids and two son-in-laws: Kayla (and Micah Fauscett), Morgan (and Ryan Berry), and Micah Thompson. They also have one granddaughter, Chandler, whom they may or may not spoil!
Has a twin sister named Mia.
Her and Parkey eloped, and she encouraged her kids to do the same!
Eats at Taco Bell multiple times a week.
Rebecca Scott was born and raised in Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Georgia. She was able to come on staff part time in 2015 and use her graphic skills to further promote the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Favorite Food: biscuits and gravy
Enjoys being an aunt to her four nieces and nephews.
Loves being the first person to dip into a new jar of peanut butter.

Assistant Youth Director
Jacob grew up in a Pastor’s home. At the age of 8, he saw His need for a Savior and asked Jesus Christ to save him. When faced with the decision to play football in college, Jacob felt the Lord leading him in a different direction. After an internship at GHBC, Jacob was offered the position of Assistant Youth Director. Jacob desires to reach out to the youth in our community and introduce them to the life-changing hope found in Jesus.
