Greater Heights Baptist Church

Teens - Senior Saints

These are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy fellowship, and be able to discuss and apply Pastor Grinstead's most recent messages. This is a great way to get to meet people at Greater Heights and grow in your relationship with the Lord.

Pre-K - 6th Grade

As you enter the city limits of Heightsville, you'll pass various attractions such as the local cafe, the backyard barn, and the mechanic's shop, all of which are home to different Sunday School classes ranging in age from pre-k through the sixth grade. Centrally located, you'll find the Redemption Theater where our weekly children's church services take place. Skits, singing, games, preaching - your kids will experience it all.

7th-12th Grade

Students of Greater Heights have a mission to influence their generation to have a growing, thriving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our small groups are divided based on grade and gender and discuss topics that are relevant to teens today.

Wednesday nights at 7PM we have a full youth group teaching. We are currently studying a series entitled, 'Aha - the God moment that changes everything.'

Ladies Ministry

Women About Missions' ladies meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month where they plan to help mission ministries across the globe.

Whether it is making dolls that explain the gospel or lap quilts for our nursing home ministries, these ladies are always looking for opportunities to serve our church and community.

Pre-K - 6th Grade

It’s our desire at Greater Heights, like the AWANA's mission, to see every child have a personal relationship with the Lord. Every Wednesday night throughout the school year, children ages two through sixth grade meet for games, snacks, and most importantly, time spent in the Word, both memorizing Scripture and learning principles to build upon their growing faith.

Community Outreach

On the second Wednesday of each month, we open our doors at 5:30 pm and provide a hot meal, and on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, we provide box of food to those in need. If you are interested in donating or helping out with this ministry, please click below to find out more information.

Nursing Home Outreach

Sharing His Light Ministry was established in November of 2003 to take the light of Jesus Christ and spread the Gospel throughout the nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the Forsyth County community.

Between the five centers, we hold eighteen services a month. Through God’s blessings, we have witnessed a wonderful harvest, with several souls accepting Christ as Savior and many receiving assurance.

Church Planting Division

The main goal of the Midwest Outreach is to expand the Bible belt to the Midwest, starting in the heart of America. It is our desire to see Christ put back in the heart of America through planting churches town by town. The first church in Belleville, Kansas in 2012. FBI is a Bible College course of study for every Christian. Students will study chronologically through the entire Bible and systematically through every major doctrine. FBI combines solid Bible teaching with an interactive DVD video format utilizing student workbooks, charts, 3D maps and images to produce an engaging learning experience.

The Dream Team is a group of individuals who desire to experience and contribute to world missions by going. Under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Grinstead, the Dream Team typically goes on two overseas trips a year. It's our desire to meet nationals and learn how we can better support and partner with our foreign counterparts serving around the globe.

While many of us are not called beyond the community we live in, we are blessed God has provided an avenue to still be involved in foreign missions, and that’s through giving. Currently, our church supports 102 missionaries each month. These missionaries span the country and globe, looking to share the light of Jesus to all corners of the world

The Lord has blessed us with some talented people who enjoy writing, acting and putting on productions. And through this talent, we want to reach our community with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Whether you enjoy acting or prefer other roles such as sound, lighting, or costumes, there are plenty of areas to get involved!

CORE stands for Centered On Remote Evangelism. We are a Baptist mission board for national pastors. Our first and foremost desire is to raise funds for national pastors.

CORE is currently partnering with pastors in Jamaica, Nigeria, Tanzania, South Sudan, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Philippines, Chile, Ghana, Guatemala, and Venezuela, and we look to continue to expand around the globe.
